2021 Michael and Wendy Hays Race to Feed the Hungry

Year after year, The Michael and Wendy Hays Race to Feed the Hungry donates thousands of dollars to the Idaho Falls’ Community Food Basket.
Registration
Online Registration is now closed. If you still want to come run, you can register at packet pick-up and the day of the race.
5K with no shirt is $15
10K with no shirt is $20
Shirts are no longer an option when registering for this race.
Each entry comes with chip timing, a swag bag with goodies from local businesses, and a donation to the Idaho Falls Community Food Basket!
In order to receive a shirt, you have to register before November 14th at midnight. Any registrations after this date are not guaranteed a shirt.
Start Time
This year’s race will go back to a traditional format with the 10K starting at 9:00 a.m. and the 5K starting at 9:15.
Your bib has a chip on it that will automatically start your time when you cross the start line and give your results immediately after you cross the finish line.
Packet Pickup
Packet Pickup will be held at Bill’s Bike Shop (930 Pier View Drive) on November 24th from 4:00-6:00.
Food donations will be accepted there, but will not cover the registration fee as the Food Basket has asked us to focus on making a monetary donation. The Food Basket can make a dollar stretch much further than they can make cans of food stretch and we would like to make as big of a difference as possible.
Course
We will be running the same courses that we did last year. These courses are new to many people so please take some time to view the maps and familiarize yourself with where you will be running.
Awards
Awards will be categorized as follows. Top three male and female. First place male and female in age groups 1-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.
Awards will be announced shortly following the races.
