Run for Mental Health Awareness

Hey! My name is Katelynn Meppen, this year I am a senior at Thunder Ridge High School! As part of my senior project, with help from my amazing mentor Salem Thomas, we have organized a 5k to raise awareness about mental health. Mental Health is such an important cause in many aspects of life. I have people in my life that have struggled with their own mental health, and I have wanted to help them in anyway I could. I have reached out to a couple local mental health centers, and came across High County Behavioral Health. I talked to some of the staff there and found that they are a very positive group of people, I wanted to help them and raise money for them so they can out that money towards research or making their facility more comfortable for their patients. All proceeds collected from this race go to High County Behavioral Health. It would mean so much to me have all of you to come and support this cause with me! I hope to see you all there!
